Sideboard / commode with sliding doors. This is not furniture design as much as detail design; it is a haptic approach to surface. The comb effect brings texture to the environment and provides handle for the door mechanism. I have built these in Maple and Oak, as freestanding units, and as elements for built-in dressing rooms.
