For Paris Design Week in September 2017 I contacted the NYC based textile artist Tamara Kostianovsky for collaboration. Argentinian, Tamara’s work delves into memories of butcher shops and Argentinian’s love of meat.
Although I dont eat meat myself I wanted to create a stand that resembled ‘the spoils of the hunt’ in a manner that was strangely ritualistic. A kind of Mod-Tribal construct set upon a circular canvas resembling the moon or the floor of teepee upon which the furniture-object is laid bare, stripped of its skin.
